Thanx Miller. If you see where is buried, his marker stands out allot and perhaps only after he passed did the Alperstein family buy up the entire plot there or else why is he buried smack in middle of their family place.
The fact that it’s says nistar is interesting – the other such marker that has the title nistar is Klapper on this site. The whole thingie is nistar…

What means אומרים עליו שהיה נסתר, Who are those who say that? I believe those who were close to him made the Matzeive and wrote that he was צדיק בדרכיו וחסיד במעשיו כל ימיו עסק בתורה ובתפלה. What’s still left?

He went by the name Cohen, that’s all I have so far.

You are right Asher, what remains to be understood is why on top of the marker it says תרפ”ט and the date of his passing it says תרפ”ח perhaps the next year is wheh the marker was placed.

And of course who is this interesting person that it was said about him beuing a Tzadik Nister.

Miller, I zoomed in, it says clearly אומרים עליו שהיה נסתר There is a “פ” right above and right below this line. The triangle shape of the marker was commonly used for Rabanim (RJJ, Rav Asch, Rav Lebovitz, meitziker Illui, Sheklover illui) but i found 2 such markers in the proximity of this one who were not Rabbanim. Can you figure out who his father הרב הצדיק יהושע הבהן was?

I’ve uploaded pictures of the Alperstein family plot.
Right in middle of there’s a Chiam Nachman Cohen (nistar?) buried – I sent Baruch the picture – does someone know wether he was a Rav at all or who he or is father was.
