Rav Felder was a big posek in Toronto. His son, Rav Aaron Felder, is a posek and a Rav in Philadelphia. One other son is a Rav in Toronto at the shul where Rav Felder was Rav and another lives in Baltimore.

BP – heard from a mishpocho of this Rav that they are possible distant relatives, but not close ones. Details unknown.

Rav Yaakov Schorr is the grandfather of Chazzan Yanky Lemmer.

His mother (Esther Lifsha) was a daughter of Rav Gedalia Schorr. Her brother was R’ Avrohom Schorr, father of Rav Gedalia (R”Y Torah Vodas & BME) and Rav Yakov (Nesivos Olam/Malochim).

Behind him is his aunt Mrs. Miriam Seifer. She passed away at the age of 99/100. Unfortunately, she never had children. She helped to raise him and his sister after their mother passed away in 1924/25.
