I know several couples who had children after attending the mikvah. A recent honoree of an organization in this field was in fact blessed by Rav Amsel, she was childless for 18 years and had a boy in 9 months. All the mispallim of his shul know the story. The Rav and his Rebbitzen were quiet unassuming poalei yeshe’os – I’m sure a tefilah at their tzion while using the mikvah (I checked and the renovation did not remove the old mikvah – they only refurbished it) has to help.

Yes, it did reopen this week after a $300,000 renovation which included many amazing upgrades and convinces. The first of its kind in Brooklyn, a 100% rain water mikvah.
