Ben,

If you are a descendant you probably have better sources and more accurate information, but my source for the above information was from Hameilitz July 21 1898, but it might very well be another Yitzchok Moshe Silverman, see link (underlined):

YD Miller,

Rabbi Silverman married Bluma Kantor in 1894. They were living in Russia before they came to America. I am also a descendent, I've done quite a bit of genealogy.

Yitzy,

Is your grandmother Eta the wife of Reb Nechemia Katz who succeeded his FIL Rabbi Silverman in Toledo?

http://www.hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=6562&st=&pgnum=78&hilite=

Rabbi Silverman married Nechama Bregman in Windowy, Lithuania in 1898, in 1906 he was installed as Rabbi in Toledo OH where he stayed till his passing in 1934.

In 1928 he visited Israel and stayed there for a while, he planned on permenantly miving there after retirement, but his early death at age of 64 came before he could fulfill his wish.

When Rav Silverman passed away, 3 prominent Rabbis (Siver - Cincinati, Aishishkin - Detroit, and Stollman - Detroit) undertook a rotation to be with the Kehila in Toledo untill they get a replacment Rabbi.

See the entire story in Hapardes, upon his passing:
