While trying to dig up information, the first thing I found through Hebrew Books OCR search, is that he lived in NY as early as 1898 and his wife was Devora Bas Reb Baruch Bendit.

I found that in a sfer Tzir Ne&#039;mon, printed in Jeruslem 1898, see link.
