the sefer shemesh umogain:

The sefer Shemesh Umogen to which writer Joel points out, is very confusingley scanned into Hebrew books, but I was able to read through the short Biography that his son Rebbe Yechiel of TA writes, including a photo of his father.
Rebbe Mendel came to the US in 1925 only for temporary and was suppose to leave from here to EY, in the end he stayed here for 13 years where he lived in Brooklyn till his passing in ’38.
The Rebbe owned alot of the Alexander Rebbes maunscripts which was later turned in to the Alexander Rebbe to publish.
The children who are signed in the preface of the sefer that was printed in TA 1953, are the sons; Avrohom Dov, Yechiel and Yisroel Yizchok Landau, and the SIL; Yosef Orenstien, Yaakov Maschitz and Schmuel Rabinowitz.
On son perished in the holocaust HY”D.
The Biala Rebbe was a great grandson of R. Avrohom Chiechanover through R Dov Berish. R. Menachem Mendel Chaim Landau was a grandson of R. Avrohom through his son Yakov from Yezov.

To Mr. Miller,
You wrote that the Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Landau, of Biala-Tchechenov, gave Alexander manuscripts to the Alexander Rebbe, (The Emunas Moshe) who published them (into a sefer called Me’Oron shel Yisroel.)
In that sefer he refers to my great-grandfather, Zvi Dov Pearlmutter of Ostrelenka, as “my mechutan”.
I have never been able to trace that comment. Are any of Menachem Mendel’s children or grandchildren alive for me to ask? You mention 3 sons and 3 sons-in–law. Do you know where any of them are?
Dovid,
I dont have the answer to your question (yet), here is a direct link to the page the mentions the children of Rebbe Landau:
