I don't have a photo. She is buried in the Ohel next to her husband the Rebbe. I saw a letter written by their son Reb Avrumche with the name and that he was a son of Reb Hershel Arender who's brother was a son in law of the Rodishitser Rebbe.

I am a direct descendant - ben achar ben from him and of course the Ropschitzer himself.
R' Kakon in Toronto is a cousin of mine and a great man. A "doer" not just a talker (he and his wife).

The Rebe's son Yosef Baruch perished in the holocaust along with an older brother, Menachem Mendel.

Reb Yosef Baruch's son, Shmuel Zanvil, survived and lived in Boro Park, and he is survived by two sons, in Flatbush and Toronto.

The Rebe had one son who did join him in Toronto, Reb Avraham, who retired to Jerusalem, Israel.

I learned from an article someone linked today on this site that not he was the one who was called the Krukever-Torontoer Rebbe. There was a Rabbi Tzanger not at all a rebbishe einikel a Bobover Chusid who later moved to Montreal, he was called the Krukever-Torontoer Rebbe.

There are many very interesting information in this article http://pi.library.yorku.ca/ojs/index.php/cjs/article/viewFile/22624/21095

The Rebbe was a son of Rav Yisroel Horowitz of Vaslits a talmud of the Divrei Chaim and 1 of 3 talmudim that recieved smicha from the Divrei Chaim. The Bobover Rebbe zt"l told over that on that famous Shavuos that the Tiferes Slome of Radomsk came to Sanz the Radomske davened shachris and they ommited yotsros as was the minhag in Poland. The Sanzer then told the Radomske "let me show you how a Ropshitze Ainekil can daven", and sent up his talmud the Vaslitze Rov. Reb Yisroel was a son of Reb Menachem Mendel of Linsk who was a son of Reb Avrum Chaim of Linsk who was the oldest son of the Ropshitzer . The kehila in Toronto sent a message to the Krakow that they need a Rov and the Rabbonim there chose Reb Naftuli Tzvi to go. The Kehila in Toronto was shocked when they recieved a Rebbe. Reb Naftuli Tzvi was also pressured to come by his daughter who was married to the Brownsviller Mezbisher Rebbe , Reb Shmuel Avrohom Rabinowitz a son of the Yampole Rebbe, Reb Eliezer Chaim, who was already in the United States since 1912. The Brownsville Rebbe also lived for about 2 years in Canada in St. Sifei, near Montreal, as he had to get away from NY since the authorities were after him for "giving out prescriptions for healing without being a pharmacist ".The Brownsville was a Baal Mofes and he gave out Kameos which helped people. In those days they accused him of witchcraft. He had to stay away for 2 years until he settled with the government.

Unfurtanutley I forget the name of the book, its located in the Hebrew Biography section on the right side when you come in the stroe.

One commenter asked if Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Horowitz has any descendants. I am his great, great grandson. I live in Washington, D.C. But my cousin, also named Naftali Tzvi, runs a yeshiva for the deaf in Toronto. I'd love to hear stories or other information you might have about Rabbi Horowitz.

Each has his own custom, some Admorim were against being buried in an ohel altogether. I have never been to Eastern Europe, but from the pictures its apparent that the Belzer Admorim are not in an ohel.

DuvidL, thats why I wrote above that inderheim in Spinka it wasn't so.
But in Munkatch the rebbetzun of the Chakal Yitschok is burid in the same ohel with her father the Veretskier rov-Ziditchoiver rebbe the Malbush.

Miller, in Tsanz the rebbetzuns R not buried in the ohel.

In Vizhnits Bnei Brak, the ohel of the rebbetzins is not of the Imrei Cayim nor his brother the Mekor Burech.

I have seen several places in Eastern Europe where woman are buried in the Ohel of a Tzaddik.
In one case a daughter in law is buried with her father in law the previous Rebbe.
