Perhaps related to the Rabbi Pessin in Monsey.

Rav Shlomo Eliezer was a brother to Rabbi Pessin in Monsey’s grandfather as he was to my grandfather also. Rabbi Pessin Z”l of Monsey was my first cousin

Are either of these Rabbis related/connected to the Pessins from Boston, originally from Belarus?

This Pessin family is originally from Urechye in what is now Belarus. Rabbis Shlomo Eliezer Pessin whose monument is shown above is the brother of my great grandfather Reverend Yonah Ephraim Pessin. See the website of
http://www.angelfire.com/or/yizkor/urechye.html . At the end of the page you will see information about Pessin family members buried in the Bnai Abraham Anshe Urechye section of Mt. Hebron cemetery in New York City.
