Were the Elfenbein who lived on the west side of Manhattan grandchildren of his? Is that how he came to be buried in the grounds of Ohab Zedek synagogue

Just to point out that Rabbi Elfenbein was a prolific author and served as rabbi of Cong. Pincus Elijah of West 95th Street which merged with Congregation Ohab Zedek. This may have been a connection.
His name was Rabbi Yisrael ben Elyakim Elfenbein, and he was from Butchatch in Galicia.
