Does anyone know the whereabouts of Rav Israelit’s family? Or his many writings?
Rabbi Israelite’s library was removed from his apartment in Chelsea after his son’s passing. It may have been in the early 1980’s. His manuscript works went to a Rabbi in the Boston area, who has now moved to New York. The Rabbi’s letter in the 1930’s from the Lubavitcher Rebbe; a 1920’s warmly inscribed sefer from Rav Kook and others, went to a N.Y. bookdealer.
Mr Feldstein, thank you. Is it possible to contact you about your message?
