Biographical Notes:
« Previous: Rabbi Yitzchok Yaakov EstersohnNext: Rabbi Pinchos Aaron Bruder »
He was an active member inthe Kneset Haraboni under the leaderhip of Reb Velvel Margolis from NY Z”L.
Appearently he was struck in a car-accident and passed away at age 58.
Why does it say “Moves K’doshim”? Was it a planned murder?
The NYT only reports that the driver of the car by the name William A. Holme was arrested.
(Its not uncommon to use the ‘Kadosh’ term for tragic deaths even if it was not exactly executed with racial motives)
I believe he lived in Boston before Waterbury.
Rabbi Jurman officiated at my great-grandparents’ wedding in Boston in November 1916. At the time, he was listed as living at 180 Chelsea Street, Boston.
