   According to some sources Rocker wasnt even Shomer Shabbos, his fathee Reb Fisschel Rocker or as he was known as Reb Fischel Gorlitzer was a R”M and Dayan in Sanz and a Sanzer Chusid.

   Besides the two works rocker wrote he was also the editor of the Yidish Newspaper of Cleveland “Yiddishe Velt”

   the next haskomo on his sefer after Rav Klein is Rav Gershon Ravinson who was a rov in clevland before that he was Chief Rabbi in Liverpool England does anybody know more about him

   Gerson Ravinson was the son of Yosef Ravinson of Kraslava. I recently found a picture of Gerson in the Jewish Independent from 1906. I have created a Ravinson family tree at Ancestry.com where you can see the picture. I also have various details about Rabbi Gerson Ravinson and his 6 children, which I am happy to share.

    Gerson Ravinson’s daughter Rebecca, married into the Biskind family of Cleveland. I’m trying to find where the Biskind family is from in Lithuania (I think). Can anyone help?

    I know who this man is

    Samuel rocker was brother of (Saul) Kalman rocker

    Rocket became Raker.

    Both were son of Fischel rocker the Dayan of the Sanzer rebbe.
