Founder of Talmid Torah Tiferes Jerusalem in
NYC (1907) with Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Herman.
On Board of Directors of Yeshiva/Mesivta
Tiferes Jerusalem for over 30 years. He was
my wife’s grandfather. His son was Rabbi
Yehudah Yosef Greenberg, Rav in San Francisco
who learned in the Slobodka Yeshiva in Hevron
and survived the massacre of 1929.

rav yaacov yosef herman established a yeshiva in new york city, brooklyn(?) as i seem to recall. do you know the name of it? is it still in existence?
