Rav Perr came to the states on August 20, 1920. He was born in Drogierzyn which is in near Grodno.
He was married to Pearl Weinreb, daughter of Rabbi Yosef Weinreb, a Rav in Toronto, Canada.
Rav Perr’s son, Rabbi Yechiel Perr, R’Y of Yeshiva of Far Rockaway, is married to Shoshana nee Nekritz, granddaughter of Rav Avroham Jofen (Yaffen) and great granddaughter of the Alter of Novordok, Rav Yosef Yoisel Horowitz.
Rav Yosef Tendler, the menahel of Yeshivas Ner Yisroel is his son in law.
He was married to Leah Weinreb, not Pearl. Her father, R’ Yosef Weinreb, was the first Rav of Toronto.
Here is the profile-post of Rav Weinreb of Toronto:

My grandmother, Ida (Adele or Elke) Goldberg was a younger cousin of Rabbi Perr on the Applebaum side of the family. He accompanied her as a young woman on the boat to America. They are listed next to each other on the ship manifest.
