Rabbi Henry was born in London, England ordained by Rabbi Heschell and served as tutor for the Rothchild family.

He wrote many books in English, while he served in New York, Cincinnati and later in San Francisco, the titles are:
1) DISCOURSES ON THE PRINCIPLES OF THE RELIGIOUS BELIEF OF ISRAEL
2) THE FORM OF THANKSGIVING FOR JEWISH LADIES
3) A SINOPSIS OF JEWISH HISTORY
