They are definitely related, the name Uri is a Stretener name.
I just don’t know who his father was.

The other Uri Langer, a prolific writer, wrote many, many seforim. Although his “business name” escapes me he is buried in Beth David, Elmont.

Uri Langner who is a writer is the cousin of the father of this Uri langner
