His daughter is the previous Bobover rebetzin she’techya, and she is a distant cousin of mine as the follwing story shows….
My great grandfather and greatgrandmother walked the Dej’er Rebbe (? or maybe rebetzin, I don’t remember) down the aisle at his chasuna, if the story in my family is correct, and the Rebetzin (bobover-his daughter) told me at shiva once that my greatgrandfather gave her father a fish as a segulah for zereh. I myself bought a goldfish when I got married, and B’h we have two girls!
Maybe someone has some more details on the Rebbe, I would like to know. I think he was in Brownsville at some point, hence the connection with my family. I am in contact with his daughter (the previous bobover rebetzin) and I can ask her a question or two.
