There was an obituary written in the Daily Home News newspaper of New Brunswick, NJ on November 9, 1933. It is not the case that he was the chief rabbi of New Brunswick, a point of contention at the time he was hired in 1931. He was the rabbi of Congregation Ahavas Achim of New Brunswick from 1931 until his death.
