   The intresting note I see here is the Bies Hamedrash Tiferes Yisroel on Willoghby corner Troop Ave. in the Wiiliamsburg section of Brooklyn NY, where the Rav spent his last few years.
   While a kid I attended school on Troop Ave. (UTA) and right at the corner we always saw this Presbyterian Church, can we assume that this was formerly a shul?

   If I understand it correctly, Abraham Levitt the foundr of Levitt & Sons, who built four suborbs named Levittown, wasthe son of this Rav.

   YD, interesting fact, I never knew that he was a Heimisher Yingel.

   Levittown is known for the radiant in slab heating designed with copper piping, years later they all leaked badly because the copper corroded from the chemical reaction between the concrete and the copper.
