    Seems like he may be related to Rabbonim on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with that surname.

    He was a rebbi in Yeshiva of Hudson County (now the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey).

    The Rabbis Siff of the Lower East Side are his nephew and great nephew respectively.
