I am grandson of David Boris and
great grandson of Gedala Boris.
I am Dean Emeritus and Distinguished
Professor at Rutger University in New Brunswick ,New Jersey .
My family and I live in Princeton, NJ
. It is 2010 and i am 74 Years
old , born in 1946 when my father returned
from being an Army Air Core Flying against
the Japanese in the Pacific.
M;y father, Sam Cooper, was shot down
in the Pacific but was saved and sent home
in 1945 . He won the Distinguished Flying Cross
for his service to America in WWII.
The translation on Gedalis Boris gravestone
reads in Hebrew that he was a grand
Rebbe and great Scholar in Europe
and America.
