Rabbi Doctor was a maggid in shuls in New York City. He published two sefarim of his drashos, Kovetz Neumim and Drashos uNeumim.
It is interesting to note that on image of sefarim and the words Shisha Sidrei Mishnah appear on his matzeivah, perhaps alluding to an affinity he had for learning Mishnayos.
