What is the source of your information regarding the date Wed. November 7, 1951 – Cheshvan 8, 5712 ?
Unless you clarify differently, I have a hunch that there might have been a confusion regarding the dates and the personality listed here.
I don’t think Agudath Sholom of Stamford had an official rabbi until the 1940s.
Rabbi Herschel Schacter (father of Rabbi J.J. Schacter) served there for about a year before becoming an army chaplain in 1942.
Rabbi Joe Ehrenkranz became their rabbi in the late 1940s and is the first rabbi listed for the shul here http://www.cas-stamford.org/list-rabbis.html , so at the time of the 1951 date you list there was no Francovitch serving as their rabbi.
If one searches for פראנקאוויטש or פראנקאוויץ at the Historical Jewish Press site, one will see that a “Reverend” or “Mister” Mordechai Francovitch lived in Stamford and was a prominent member of Agudath Sholom who passed away in October of 1917 at age 70. In various articles in the Yiddish press he is listed as a sofer and mocher seforim and as a ירא שמים but not as a rav.
For an example, see Di Yiddishe Velt May 23, 1904 p5 (bottom right of the image)

For his obituary, see the Morgen Journal October, 25 1917, p2

Interestingly enough, October 25, 1917 was Cheshvan 9, 5678 which would put the likely date of the פטירה at Cheshvan 8 which matches the date but not the year you list above.
