What is the significance of the “relatively small becher”? Are you raising doubts on Rav Dovid Feinstein’s zatza”l measurements of 4.42 ounces for Friday night kiddush, and 3.3 ounces for other kosos, which R’ Dovid claimed were according to the psak of his father?
Just showing people what Rav Moshe used in practice so that others can learn form it. Not sure why you would think that it has a negative connotation.
