Hello,
I am looking for a biography of Rabbi Rivkind. If there is one already written it would be great to get the bibliographical information so I could access it. Otherwise, if a family member would mind getting together a few biographical facts that would be amazing.
Thank you,
Rivka

Letter written by Rabbi Rivkind while serving in Philadelphia in 1910:

In some of his documents, it shows he is from the tirbe of Efrayim, if history is correct, that is a lost tribe, disperesed among gentiles, and over time, they were no longer jews. what do you all think of this? true or not true? I am so curious. I am not sure what the importance is yet. But truly interested. thank you, Shalom my brothers.
A number of Rivkinds were blue eye blondes. They did not have so called semetic features. Back in those days there was a lot of ‘mixing’. Hope this helps.
Hi,
I’m repeating what Rivka wrote in 2011,
I am looking for a biography of Rabbi Rivkind. If there is one already written it would be great to get the bibliographical information so I could access it. Otherwise, if a family member would mind getting together a few biographical facts that would be amazing.

I am trying to find more information about Rabbi Rivkind or his wife as well. Is anyone can help me, please email me at Bethrivkind@gmail.com
I live in Philadelphia.
@valerie – I did not notice your post last time I was here. – Many years back I did some research on our lineage. I don’t recall what I found exactly, but I remember suspecting that he comes from one of the lost tribes. Efrayim even rings a bell as one of the couple I narrowed it down to. Is there anything you can share that gave you this idea?
@moshe, @Rivka – It has been a few years since I spoke with Perry. We talked a couple times about getting the records of our family, but I couldn’t reach him last time I called a couple years ago to travel down to see him. Unfortunately, his health was declining with memory and he wasn’t very lucid the last we spoke. I could tell it had been progressing quickly. I’ll see what I can find out.
Almost forgot, I did find Moses’s book about a year ago. Anyone here able to translate this?
Please share your wisdom if you can! I believe this was his prayer book?
Send me a message if you need a better photo of any pages.
