Rebbitzen Silk lived in Providence, R.I. after her
husband died. My bubby knew her well. He died
when I was 4. When I was 12, my parents moved to
the section of Providence where she lived. Some years later, I met her. Unless I am mistaken, she told me she had a son who was a doctor.
I remember her making a kiddush at the Providence Hebrew Day School in memory of her husband. I do not recall what year she was niftar.
