Was in Chicago as early as 1891 where he edited and printed his father’s sefer Toomie Tzvieh:

His father Reb Burach Ettelsohn authored other seforim as well, he emigrated to the US from Poland in 1880 and was niftar 1890 in Chicago.

Together with SL Marcus he edited and printed the Yiddish newspaper “Israelitiche Presse” and a Hebrew suplement “Hiechal Ha-Ivriah” that was printed in Chicago for a period of three years.
