Any relation to Rav Nahum Eliezer Rabinovitch, Rosh Yeshiva in Maalei Adumim, the author of Yad Peshuta on the Rambam, who was formerly a Rav in America?
My grandfather was born in Ukraine, His name was Mark (Mordechai Rabinovich) He was a very religious man and lieved in Kremenetz (Marganetz). He was killed by natzi ( beaten and burned) in his own home around 1942. One of his son’s- my grandfatehr Nahum Rabinovich lived in Zaporozhie, Ukraine, and my father Naum Rabinovich – was a pilot 1942-, then one of the major air injeneiers in Moskow. My father died in 1989… I wounder if there is any connection with Rabbi Nahum Eliezer Rabinovich?

הוציא לאור את הספר מגילת איבה לזקינו בעל התוספות יום טוב
נוא יארק תרס”ט
http://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=36472
it looks like his name was Katzenelbogen
his father mentions him in his sefer
http://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=345
on page 37
i made a mistake it’s not the מגילת איבה from the תוספות יום טוב
it’s his personal recollection of the russian pogroms
He was a talmud of Volozhin of the Netziv and R”Ch Brisker, and served as the rav of the city Simferopol (Crimea)
His brother in law was the Rav in Liberty

The third picture here is my great great grandfather Morris Klemow, who married Rav Rabinowitz’s widow.
