Rabbi Ben-Horim was among the 400 rabbis who marched in Washington DC on Oct. 6, 1943 for the liberation of the Jewish nation from Nazi Germany.

I am Nahum Ben Horim’s great grandson. His doughter Bruria (my grandmother) married Moshe Mizrah (my grandfather) in Israel and their son Yehouda (my father) was born in Israel in 1934. I was born in Israel in 1961 when my parents changed our last name to Kedem. I moved to New York in 1985 and have lived in and around Manhattan since.
