    Abraham Wolf Binder “Father of Jewish Music in America” and longtime director of the Mens choir at the 92 street Y was his brother

    Also, somehow he was related to Rabbi Yaakov Geller of Galveston

    Abraham Wolf Binder was his son (not father) and Rabbi Yaakov Geller was his brother-in-law. Shalom Binders first wife was Leah Wittes had a sister Sara Wittes who was Rabbi Gellers wife. Shulim Binder was my wifes gr gr grandfather. If anyone has more information or would like to know more I would love to share.
