I think he lived in Bronsville or in East New York. I know someone who used to attend his weekly Shiur on Leil Shishi. He was also delivering then a Shiur in Mogen Avrohom of the Turisker Magid.
They were 4 brothers Rabbis here inthe US, at one pint was Reb Shimon Rabbi in Boston, see here:

This wouldn’t be surprising as his father taught in the yeshiva of the Ridvaz (ישיבת תורת ארץ ישראל) and his brother Dovid was also affiliated with the yeshiva according to these links:
