It is mentioned on bothe β fatheer and sons β tumbstone, that they were decendats of Reb Dovidβl of Kriptch Zβl, this reffers to a close Chaver of the Apta Rav and one of the famous Chasidim of that time.
Reb Dovidβl of Kriptch, I never heard of him, please tell me a little more about the Rebba.

I dont know much about him, only from what I read through the words of his descendant Rabbi Dovid Uri Zβl who was also a descandant of the Benie Yesosscher Zβl in his Sefer Kol Dodi, here is a link:
