Rabbi Solomon Segal was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Segal.
He was born Feb 11 1904 in Israel and came to the United States at age 13.
His family settled in Cleveland.
Rabbi Segal was gradated from Issac Elchanan Yeshiva (YU) and City Collage of New York.
He served the Synagouge of Athol, Mass for five years then at Elwood City, Pa, four years before coming to Massena in 1950.
He married Mrs. Polly Paseornek on Dec. 31 1938.
Their children were Mrs. Florence Miller, Albany and Joshua Segal.

The “Adath Israel Cemetery” is by the Grass River on Maple Street, about half way between North Main Street and the Hospital.
Here (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~stlawgen/CEMETERY/Adath/Adath.html) it says that the cemetery is located in the back right hand corner of Cavalry cemetery.
The Second Congregational Church became the Adath Israel Synagogue.
