Biographical Notes:

Rabbi Yehoshua Getzel Scheinfeld was born in Lublin in 1879 and was a follower ofย  Rebbe Avraham Eiger of Lublin and Rebbe Tzadok HaKohen. Arriving on these shores in 1913 settling in Williamsburg, he was known as an ehrliche yid whose kashrus could be trusted.
