His 3 sons are leading rabbis in their communities’
Harav R’ Chaim leib, serdehaly rav in BP
Harav R’ Shlomo zalmen, Rav of Kehal Toldos ahron in Wmsbg.
Harav R’ Usher Anshil, Viener Rav.
His SIL Rabbi Pollack of Staten Island.
You can see on his Matzeive that he was also Dayn in Makeve, Hungary. That is because he was the SIL of the Dayan Rabbi Chaim Leib Deitch (Father of Reb Yehoshua of Katamon, Jeruslem).
Rabbi Yehoshua Katz:
I miss you dear cousin:
Avrohom Pinchus HaKohain Katz
R’ Yehoshua was a son of R’ Asher Anshil Katz, the rosh beth-din of Congregation Adas Yisroel in Dunaszerdahely, and grandson of Yonathan Benyomin Katz of Csenger.
From mother side, he was grandson of the Szilagysomlyo Rav R’ Shlomo Zalmen Ehrenreich.
R’ Yehoshua served as Dayan in Mako (Makeve), between 1937-1947, and then in Szombathely (Steinemanger), until end of 1948, when he left Hungary.
