Thanks BBZ, the article concurs with the above point that he was the SIL of Rebbe Yeruchem Leiner of Radzin, he was Niftar at a young age leaving children behind in their childhood.
What is still mind boggling is the fact the name of his father is not inscribed on the Matzieve, niether does the article in Hapardes mention his father’s name, is this a mystery or what?
He was one of the founders and leaders of the Kollel Bies Hatalmud in Brooklyn.
Reb Liebele Malriter, he was from malrit
Another SIL of the Radziner Rebbe Zt”l Rav Yeruchem Leiner, was Rav Lipa Frankel, of the famous Frankel’s Sforim store. Rav Lipa was a son of the Hosiatiner Rav Z”l.
His father’s name was R Yakov Dov, who his son R Berel is named after.
