The above was already the second edition printed in NY in 1921, the first one was printed in Philadelphia in 1906.
He was actually a fundraiser to England first for Rabeinu Yitzchok Elchonon than for Slabodka and later for the Novhardiker Kolel, he came to the US for health issues. The Sefer are speeches he gave as a way of fundraising (he writes that as a young man of only 20 years old he already started giving speeches in Kovno) and that’s probably why it was printed many times because he handed it out to those who gave him money…
