He was the Rav in the city of Lushentz and the Rosh Yeshiva in the cities of Pahust, Zvehill, Slavuta and Mohlev.
Here in the US he lived on 262 Albany Avenue, Brooklyn, and other then publishing his Seforim, I think that from this haskomo http://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=41397&st=&pgnum=8&hilite= it seems that he didn’t have an official Rabbinical post in New York.
