He was the youngest son-in-law of Reb Shrag Feivel Frank, and brother-in-law of Reb Moshe Mordechai Epstein and Reb Isser Zalman Meltzer. His son-in-law was Rav Ruderman.

My father, A”H, learned in Reb Sheftel’s yeshiva when it was in Cleveland in the early ’30’s.

His other son-in-law was Rav Naftoli Neuberger, who passe away not long ago.
