Jassy Rebbe
d. 10 Adar II, 1948
The Rebbe was born in Jezierzany, Poland (Germany) and came to the United States in 1922. His only known work is on the Rambam’s Thirteen Principles (Brooklyn 1945) was reprinted several times in Hebrew and Yiddish. The Rebbe was also one of more than 400 Rabbanim and Admorim who on Erev Yom Kippur, 1943 marched on Washington demanding that the Roosevelt administration help save the Jews of Europe.

The Rebbe was a cousin with the Loshkowitzer Rebbe Reb Schmuel Gottesman-Heller.
The Loshkowitzer is burried in E. Israel, as per Alfasi he had a son a Rabbi in Jersey City, does anyone know about him?

I am sorry, the Yassi Rebbe actually had a son Aron Arye was a rabbi in jersey city

The Rebbe?s SIL was Rebbe Avroham Binyomin Beinush Auerbach the Yerushalayimer Rebbe.

the rebe’s son reb aron arye, was the SIL of the stretiner rebbe rav langner. and he is buried near his FIL ohel in floral park new jersey.
