    Was he a SIL to R David Feinstein of MTJ ?

    His brother Shmuel is a SIL to R David Feinstein. Their father was R Yitzchok, also A rav on the lower East Side. Avraham was also the principal in MTJ. After his petirah, his brother took over the position.
