« Previous: Rabbi Shimon RaphalowitzNext: Rabbi Yissachar Meir Newmark »
A very popular Rabbi was Rabbi Moshe Dan Sheinkopf of Springfiel Mass. he was the SIL of Rabbi Seltzer President of the Agudas Harabanim.
This rabbi is most probably related as you can see from his father’s name, but I know its not the father of Rabbi Sheinkopf of Springfield whos name was Yisroel Eliezer, but maybe an uncle.
R. Baruch Mordechai was the great-great uncle of the R. Moshe Dan of Springfield. He was from Szczuczyn, Poland. The original R. Moshe Dan (1800-1889) mentioned on the stone was from Lomza and had seven children. R. Baruch Mordechai was the sixth child.
Rabbi Seltzer, ztl, my maternal grandfather, was not the president of the Agudas HaRabanim. He
served for many years as its Mazkir HaKlali,
Executive Secretary.
