See article in Der Morgen zshurnal – דער מארגען זשורנאל, 23 December 1921,page 5 (on nli.org.il’s website) about when the Talna-Vizhnitzer Rebbe, Rav Motele Chordov, had just came to America after World War I, and Rav Efroim Shnuer (that’s how he spelled it on his stationary), a Vizhnitzer Chossid, spoke and appointed a commitee to help the Rebbe establish himself.
See letter of Kashrus on behalf of R’ Yitzchok Willig, that all the wines and drinks sold at his store, The Greater New York Wine and Liquor Company on the Lower East Side, is kosher, and he himself buys his drinks there. He was the Rav of The First Warschauer Cong. 88-90 Rivington Street on the Lower East Side. The letter can be found in Der Morgen zshurnal – דער מארגען זשורנאל, 26 March 1917 (on nli.org.il’s website).
