Bio Information:

Rabbi Martin arrived here from Latvia in 1904 (or 1907) and settled in Portland, Oregon where he taught at the local Talmud Torah. A profession he brought along with him from the old country. His most famous student was one Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn, who would later become the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe.
