Rabbi Nathan Kohler, standing in hat, collared shirt, tie, jacket, holding a sheet of paper, and Rabbi Yosef Farber, standing in hat, glasses, coat. Rabbi Farber was dean of the Lithuanian Theological Seminary in Kaunas, Lithuania. He visited the United States for six months to interest members of his faith in rebuilding the seminary.
