Biographical Notes:
Rav Klein a native New Yorker and talmud muvhack of Rav Shlomo Heiman was the menahel (principal) of the Mirrer Mesivta for over forty years.
« Previous: Rabbi Shneur Zalman SchneersonNext: Rabbi Baruch Hanapolsky »
This man was a Tzadik Nistar. He was my Menahel in high school. And like any teenager, I didn’t appreciate who he was and what I had until I was well out of high school.
If I had an ounce of brains back then, I would have thanked HaShem for the gift he gave me to be my Menahel.
May his memory be a Bracha for all. And may he be Mochel me for the times I misbehaved and for the things I said against/about him. I am sorry Rebbe.
I too didn’t appreciate him until later in life. He gave me a chance and accepted me into Mir. I wasn’t scholastically on par with my classmates, but he kept me.
Thank you Reb Klein❤️
I loved his parents and davened with them at Rav Nissen Telushkin’s Georgia Ave shul. His brother was a judaica salesman.Rabbi Klein picked me up when I fell on the ice at Yeshiva Toras Chaim in the early ’60s.He was my Principal at Mir from 1966-1968 when I left.He ruined the High school lives of many of my fellow talmidim including one who married my cousin and made his in-laws home treif after they were niftar.
