Rabbi Rosen passed away in 1954, at a time he served inthe Chevra Tehilim Shul in Passaic.

was he the same who gave the hechsher for pesach on Maxwell House Coffee?
Apparently he was the successor to the father of Rav Aron Kotler as Rov of Sislovitz before coming to the United States. Rav Moshe Feinstein told Rav Meir Stern shlit”a (when he told him that he had started a yeshiva in Passaic) that there was once a great talmid chochom there named Rabbi Rosen who used to discuss sheilos with him.

I heard a story from an old Rav in Passaic that when Rabbi Rosen first arrived in New Jersey there was a large welcoming committee waiting for him that had mistaken him for the Rogochover
Ironically both Rabbi Aharon Kotler and Rabbi Shmuel Belkin were from Svislach
