Your way of describing the Rebbe is defiantly unique!!!!!
I have read much of this devoted Rabbi. He is, I believe, an inspiration to everyone, regardless of Race, or Creed. He left a legacy of Faith, and Devotion to the Jewish Faith. I am only sorry I never had the priviledge of meeting him, and sitting down and talking to him. May he be Eternally Blessed, and Rest In Peace.
I only wish that the Roman Catholic Faith, of which I am part of, and all other Faiths could take a lesson from this Loyal Child of G-d

The third rebbe at the left is rebbe Yitzchok Mier Heschil Z”L of Mezabizh-Haifa.

This Picture is at the Levaye of Horav Hachosid Reb Shlome Horenstein Z”L on East Broadway on the lower Eastside .
Who was Horav Hachosid Reb Shlome Horenstein?
I would imagine he was a close relative of the SIL of MaHaRYatz
He was the SIL of MaHaRYatz. In fact, they are buried right next to each other. Also in the cemetery are the Rebbetzins of the 5th, 6th, and 7th Rebbe’s of Lubavitch.
Reb Shloime Horenstein was a boyaner chossid and a distant relative of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
I heard the Boyaner Rebbe was elderly, and the Lubavicher Rebbe, holding his arm in the photo, assisted him down the stairs.
Photo: And there is more to the story. The Boyaner Chasidim realizing that the Lubavicher Rebbe was was helping him down the stairs they ran over to help the Lubavicher rebbe, but the Rebbe refused saying he wants to have the mitzva himself.
