Send the pictures to Baruch.
I called up the office and they told me that there is a Marcus Langner in the same section, which makes sense to be Reb Mordechai who past away May 22 1948 י”ג אייר תש”ח

I am Rav Moshe’s great grandson, through my mother Feige Langner, who was the daughter of Rabbi Solomon Langner, who was the son of Rav Moshe Langner.
Reb Shlome is buried in Mount Sinai Cemetery, dufferin and wilson, Toronto
Hello Avraham David:
I knew your grandparents when I was a child. My parents and your grandparents rented small, side-by-side cottages near Jackson’s Point. I remember that your grandmother was a lovely, intelligent woman who had a difficult life. I also knew your mother, Feige and your aunt Gitel and uncle, Shalom. I had been told that your mom passed away some time ago — and I am wondering what became of the others?

Jiří Langer – the Czech Ba‘al Tshuva, writer and friend of Kafka (he introduced Kafka both to Kabbalah and to a frum Zionism) – ran away as a teenager from secular parents, to join the Hasidim and their Rebbe in Belz. During that time he also got to know Stratyn / Streten and its Hasidim and Rebbe, and wrote that ‘anyone who has not heard the Streteners daven does not know the true meaning of piety’.
Does anyone know who would have been Stretener Admor at that time (WW1 to early 1920s), and whether any remnant of that K’hilla and dynasty remains anywhere? I know that R. Shalom Flam / Sholom Flaum died in 2003, and that there were and are the Brandwein Admorim in Israel, Yehuda (z”tzl) and Avraham (shlita) – but I don’t know how they are all related.
any questions regarding my heilige zeydes the strettiner rebbe can contact me and I will gladly help you bezras hashem.
