Biographical Notes:

The Rebbe was the great grandson of Rebbe Yoseph Leifer of Borsha and a desendant of Rebbe Berchi of Nadvorna d.1848.

    I believe this is the brother in law of R’ Berish Eichenstein Zidichoiver Rebbe and R’ Berish Leifer Hermanstadt-Nadvorner Rebbe..
    All these gentlemen were from Boro Park. To the best of my knowledge R’ yosef Meir did not have any rabbinical position but his son R- Asher Zelig has a shul in Monsey
